Kid Comedy
Don’t forget, the deadline for the first Kid Comedy Carnival is upon us. I’m assuming y’all almost forgot like I did, because I only have one submission so far, so tell your kids to hurry up and be funny right now. If you’ve trained them properly, they’ll obey. If you haven’t, they might be even funnier, but you’ll have to work harder to see the humor.
I had originally said midnight Thursday for a deadline, but just to be nice I’ll extend it to Friday midnight - every Friday at midnight, until I cry “Uncle.”
OK, that’s old news. The first has come and gone. Well, it’s not gone. You can see it, but let’s move ahead:
The rules:
You can submit your own material, or somebody else’s post that you think fits the criteria. Submissions should be:
- kid related - but need not be your own kids
- funny
- family friendly, g-rated, and compatible with a Christian lifestyle. Don’t worry, Christians have TV and caffeine too.
- received by 11:59PM, Friday night(CST) in order to be posted that weekend.
The best way to participate is to send your contributions via Blog Carnival. Try it - it’s fast and easy for everyone involved!
If you prefer, you can also send your submissions to carnival.kidcomedy@gmail.dot.com. Please include the following information. List format will make it easier for the host to assemble:
- Your name (screen name is fine)
- Your blog title and url
- A link to your submission, along with the title of the post. If you’re really smart and nice, you will have the link built into the title of the post. If you have no idea how to do that, we still like you anyway.
- A brief summary (just a few words or a line or two)
If you contribute, please consider mentioning the carnival on your blog as well. For that matter, if you don’t contribute, please consider mentioning it. Kids are funny. Help share the joy!

Wow! It’s the first time I see you blog and I must say I am amazed! That’s very brave to have so many kids!! But how do you do it? I wish I knew how many kids I could have… I am an only child, with only a little toddler at home and even if I want more kids, I have no idea how many I could actually deal with! And homeschooling, how is it? I’ll certainly come back regularly to learn more!
