I’m guessing those of you who live in, oh, Minnesota for example, don’t have to worry about leaving plastic items on the dashboard of the car.Apparently we should worry a little more here in south Texas.

I’m off to see the midwife this morning - unless she calls to tell me that she’s out on a long-expected delivery. Some poor soul is long overdue and has been having sporadic labor for days. Is it mean of me to hope that she can hold off til after my appointment?
