oops & prenatal checkup
I’m guessing those of you who live in, oh, Minnesota for example, don’t have to worry about leaving plastic items on the dashboard of the car.
Apparently we should worry a little more here in south Texas.
On the bright side, all went well at my prenatal checkup today, especially the part where the midwife didn’t get called out on a delivery.
I also rather enjoyed the part where I stepped on the scale and found that I haven’t gained any more weight. This is one of the perks of south Texas summers. Who feels like eating when it’s 95 degrees?
Yes, I still expect to top out in uncharted territory, but at least I won’t be so far from familiar ground.

Wow, it’s that hot down there and it isn’t even June yet! I’m glad your checkup went well, but boy…I hope you are sipping cold iced tea and keeping your feet up in that heat!

I remember my tapes doing that here in Fresno when I was a kid. It was almost 100 here this week but on 77 in my house;).
Oh, I hope that tape wasn’t a favorite. These things happen in my sauna state (FL), too. Congrats on not gaining weight. Yay!
Tapes WILL melt in Minnesota…but usually only in July and August!
