It’s official

I’m 4-5 cm. dilated. I’m not a slacker anymore - well, at least not if I give birth sometime today. But of course my contractions got stage fright and took off as soon as the midwives arrived.
I’ll have a bite to eat, then go outside for a walk. Between the exam, and the walk, and maybe a bit of Blue Cohosh, we’re all hoping to get things kicked into gear.
Then I can get into the pool, which hubby has been working tirelessly to keep nice and warm.

LOL, your contractions got stage fright. Those midwives don’t mess around, do they? You must all be buzzing with excitment! Hugs and kisses going out your way…
Yea!! Exciting!
Good Luck! But I have a stupid question…What is Blue Cohosh?
Bless you!!! Soon you will be holding your new one in your arms, it’s almost over

I’ve been closely following your pregnancy/labor. I’m due in 6 weeks with our 8th. I wonder if I will follow your pattern of on again off again labor. With our 7th my contractions didn’t get regular. I still thought they were going to send me home when they did the first VE and found that I was already 7cm!
This birth will, Lord willing, be our first homebirth. I’m very excited and nervous and reading as much as I can. Thanks for letting peak in on your labor!!
I am praying for you and the baby.
Kimberly
Oooooh, exciting! I bet we’ll be seeing a picture of new baby girl very soon. I hope all goes smoothly for you.
