Vision Forum Deal of the Day: save 40-90%!

Right after the last post Kim got a doozy of a contraction and the baby picked that precise moment to start wiggling about.

So back to the pool it was. It took her about 10 minutes to settle in and for the contractions to resume in ernest. While out of the pool they were intense and coming faster and faster. The last few were about 2 min apart. Once back in the pool it took a good while for them to build back up in intensity but we’re getting there and they are back under about 4 min. ( I keep syaing about ’cause it’s been a half hour since we actually timed them.)

Her mom is sitting with her by the pool while I type.

That’s Kim typing the last post.

I’m all for staying in the water as long as possible. With my last two births, the contractions were VERY manageable whilst in the water and as soon as I knew I “HAD” to get out, the baby was born in just a few more minutes. I’m convinced that while you’re in the water more work is being done than you realize.

I am praying for you and baby Duck.

    Dear Kim,

Sounds like you’re almost there – or should I say the baby is almost here!? Keep up the good work.
Still praying for you in KY. :o )

You’re in my prayers even though I don’t know you. I homebirthed my youngest four babies and reading your account today has brought tears to my eyes.

God bless you Kim! Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy. Savor and relish this precious gift from God. Not only the baby, but the birthing process as well.
