Oatmeal Cookie Mix - fills a 5 quart ice cream bucket nicely
3 cups brown sugar
3 cups white sugar
6 cups flour
4 tsp. salt
4 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
4 cups shortening
12 cups rolled oats
Stir together all ingredients through baking powder. Cut in shortening. Stir in oats.
To make cookies:
2 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
4 cups mix, above
