He has come to our church's family camp for I think three years in a row and we sell his music in our store (www.exodusbooks.com). Most of his CDs are wonderful and they just keep getting better and better. I like how he writes songs about more obscure Bible stories and I think it's great for kids to get a familiarity with the topics that he sings about. One of his goals (he doesn't think he'll actually be able to accomplish it, but he's aiming) is to have a song about every story in the Bible. We really enjoy his music - it's catchy (for both kids and adults) and really encourages us to focus on the beauty and the excitement of God's working out His sovereign will for His people. I recently wrote a play for our homeschool co-op group using many of Jamie Soles songs to help the kids catch onto the joy of belonging to our great covenant God. We have his "The Way My Story Goes" album and it is catchy, funny, and quite a learning experience! It's not often you see great kid's music written about the Old Testament. We love Jamie Soles!
