Tarantula happenings

Vision Forum Deal of the Day: save 40-90%!

I guess you have probably been wondering about the tarantula. Well something interesting did happen with her today. SHE SHED HER SKIN!
Even her fangs!
this is a picture of the inside (I did not break the skin
open. She is just a sloppy shedder)
Did I ever say that she was missing a leg when we got
her? If you look closely you can see her little baby
leg growing back.

    Just realised that Sean posted a message on Lydia Mae’s blog. Would love to hear from her, especially since she is Sean’s same age?Ruth MacCaarthaigh

    I think one of the messages I sent to you didn’t get to you! My son Sean has started up his own blog but for the time being we are going to keep it private. We would like you and your sister to contact him. my blog is http://ruthsean.blogspot.com would you and your parents check it out and perhaps if you like you can post a comment along with your mum’s email and I can forward you Sean’s blog address? We like the spider… well, Sean and his friend does!

    We had a tarantula once. My kids liked it, I didn’t. I have 8 kids, and love being a mother. You have a great blog! I love the color.

  7. Hercules Mulligan adds her thoughts::

    You have a PET tarantula??? Hey, now, redcoats don’t scare me a cinch, but huge, hairy spiders in the house with big, hairy legs???

    You girls are BRAVE. What do you feed it?

  8. Kaitlyn adds her thoughts::

    Hercules Mulligan,
    We feed the tarantula crickets, And as for being brave about it,
    1. I’m the only one that holds it
    2. I don’t exactly think of it as a spider but more a… a animal rodent thing because it’s to big.
