If you have emailed me recently and didn’t receive an answer, I want you to know that your email is safely nestled in my inbox among the other 169 messages that I fully intend to answer.
Here is what my To Do list looks like right now:

1. Finish mudding, sanding and painting two more closets.
2. Hang new racks and shelves in said closets.
3. Prep the bathroom floor and lay laminate tile, in preparation for setting the vanity and having a real sink with real running water in the bathroom.
4. Replace my closet light.
5. Continue to stalk the owner of the sire of our litter of registered Golden Retriever pups until I get the necessary paperwork from her. I’m beginning to think that the owner has gone into the witness protection program.
6. Housebreak the last remaining pup, while praying that the buyers of the other 9 don’t get impatient and decide that we’ve defrauded them because they don’t yet have the registration papers for their pups.
7. Answer the 169 emails in my inbox.
