One sick girl

6yo Becca was down with a virus last week.  On the worst morning, she was vomiting every few minutes.  Tired of lying on the couch, she joined us at the table with her cup of tea and a pan to throw up in.

She took a sip of her tea, and threw up in her pan.

Again.

Again.

And again.

Finally, she looked at me with resignation in her eyes.   “I think I’ll just save my tea for later, Mom.”

  4. Yuck! We just got rid of the same bug. I know, from experience, that “every few minutes” is NO exaggeration!

  5. Sometimes you just gotta accept life for what it is and roll with the punches. Poor little one! Hope she’s better now.

  6. How cute was that??? Poor thing.

  7. OK, I’m reading this and thinking if she just doesn’t drink any more tea, she’ll be ok…
