Our new host: 1and1
I’m thinking maybe I was too mysterious about our new host. I’m just trying to be cautious before I sing their praises too loudly. After all, not too long ago I thought Whip An Orbit was the best host ever. Actually they were. I don’t know what happened, but they sure went downhill recently.
At any rate, our new host is 1and1. As I mentioned in an earlier post, they come highly recommended by a friend whose family has been in business online for many years. Our friend is a computer guy by profession. No, that’s not his official title, but it might as well be. He knows his stuff.
Our package with 1and1 costs slightly more than we were paying with our previous host (whose name I can’t bear to type more than once in this post, and that without a link), but we are getting a far larger hosting package - we will be able to combine our accounts and actually save money. We will also get 3 of our domains for free each year, which will save us over $24/year - and the additional domains that we purchase through them will be less than we were paying GoDaddy. If you’re wondering how many domains we have, I’m a little ashamed to say. If you ask why we need so many domains, I’ll probably just change the subject. Nice weather we’re having, eh?

Hello! Thank you for commenting on my site… I am curious, which package did you go with on 1and1… it is all very confusing. How did you choose your theme and how do you edit it and add ads?
Many blessings to you… how lucky you are with all those children. I only have two and very grateful I am for them too, after 21 years of marriage. =)
