When my kids were infants eating off a tray or my lap, I loved bananas for travel food. Would slice them in half, cover the open end, and when mealtime came would simply spoon feed from the banana as if it were a little bowl. Did the same with kiwi. We do tend to get the larger ones since I suspect there's a smaller ratio of peel to edible fruit, and we have no trouble finishing the big ones around here. I guess we're hearty eaters. :) Meredith,
