Here are some more pictures of the new baby. She is 1 day old in the picture where she is holding onto mom.
She is 2 days old in the other pictures. Mom took the pictures that don’t have her in them because the baby is in her lap. Except for the one of her sleeping.
She is on the couch in that one.

Beautiful pics, Kim! I just had to comment to say that little sweetie looks so much like her Dad.
I hope the nursing gets smoother very soon – enjoy your days of rest!

She’s gorgeous..and our families are still somewhat symmetrical – we’ve got 8 girls and a boy, including me..
She looks so cuddly! Congratulations – we are eager to meet her!
She is so precious! And I must agree, she does look a lot like her Dad.
She looks so much like one of her big sisters…. Lydia or Kaitlin, I think? I can never remember all of their names, sorry!
Oh my she looks just like you Lydia when you were that little. How sweet and pretty she is just like her big sister.
Love yall,
Grandma C
Aweee….. she looks so much older than one day. Mine always come out wrinkly and mad as heck. I think the are adorable though. I have quite a few photo’s of the “awe come on mom.” face to prove their sour disposition. Believe it or not I even love that.
WOW!! I don’t come here for like 2 days and you have a baby and about 20 new posts. LOL
Congratulations and she is GORGEOU!!. Your labor story did scare me some…. that pain part, you know.
Maybe I will opt for the epidural if I have to go to the hospital
I totally agree with Grandma C. She looks just like Lydia in the face. What do you think, Kim and Perry? She is so beautiful; just perfect. We can’t wait to hear her name. I’m sure it will be very pretty.
Also, I am going to add liquid calcium to my labor supply list! It will be interesting to see the difference it makes in a few weeks. The afterpains (especially each time I nurse) are just nasty! Thanks for posting about it.
Take care,
Angela
She is so precious Kim! Again, congrats to you and your family. Bless you all so much

May I venture to say that I think she looks like her Daddy?
Am I wrong??
I will admit that I’m slightly envious of you, what with your new pink bundle in your arms and getting such great treatment from your family!
Wish it were me!!
I’m so happy for you that you have your ankles back…….
You are truly blessed.

I think she looks like Lydia too.
She’s beautiful!
The baby is beutiful. I’m looking forward to seeing a picture of the whole family. Wait…that’s probably hard to get?! We have three kids, so far, and it’s rare that I get a good picture of all of us. Thank you for the tip on liquid calcium. Kim, i’m glad you’re feeling like you’re on vacation, enjoy it while it lasts!!
I keep reloading to see if she has a name yet! I AM trying to be patient! (My name is NOT Patience)
Not to be pedantic but you need to update your header. You’re not a family of 10 anymore…
She looks exactly like the Boy!! LOL Which translates to her dad. She is precious, congrats to the family.
Congratulations Kim and family, she is absolutely beautiful! I can’t wait to hear her name. We missed all the excitement as we were camping for a week and a half and didn’t get home until June 28! So I’m looking forward to going back and reading your experience. Blessings to you as you enjoy this new little blessing! And thanks for sharing with the rest of us!
Hi there! I found your blog through a friend and I am totally impressed by your large family and Congrats on #9! I love the title of your blog by the way, I used to joke that with my 3 under the age of 2 I was like the old woman who lived in a shoe! Please check out my blog when you have time! Yea right! Have a blessed Monday ~ Toni Jill

Thank you for all the updates so wuickly. You are amazing. Also I read the post on the calcium I am going to try it this time.
Congratulations
We love you
I guess we should weigh in on the matter too: we agree that she looks a lot like Lydia did as a baby. I’m impressed that so many of you spotted the likeness as well!
Okay, so don’t tell us what you are NAMING her, just tell us what you are all CALLING her. The Baby? The girl? Little girl? Babyface? Princess? Little one? New Baby? Darling? Sweetie Pie?
You must be calling her something!
i am looking forward to your new banner
Lois,
We’re calling her the baby for now. It works. But I think we at least have a first name picked out. Now we just have to choose a middle name that works with it.
That’s progress, right?
That is wonderful progress! And for all my pretend complaining, I’m glad you are taking all the time you need to pick just the right name. A name is important, and not to be chosen lightly. And you do have at least 10 months for the moniker “the baby” to work just fine. After that, someone else might need it. = )
