My brain hurts

Vision Forum Deal of the Day: save 40-90%!

This got me thinking.  Thinking hurts, especially when I think really hard for a long time.  But I’ve got a doozy of a post on the subject, nearly polished up and ready to go.  I haven’t done this much research since high school.  I’m not sure I even did this much research back then, but I’ve learned a lot and I like what I learned.

Ready?

Oh, bring it on, Kim. Bring it on.

Erik and I have spent a LOT of time talking about this very issue; I am really eager to hear what you have to say. As culture-saturated Christians, it won’t be easy to discuss, but it’s TIME.

Can’t wait to hear your views on this.
I had an ectopic pregnancy about a year ago. My tube ruptured and I began bleeding internally before I even knew I was pregnant. The doctors say I’m lucky to be alive.
I can see where this would be a hard topic to discuss.

Sherry, thank you for the reminder (intentional or not) that we need to be gentle and gracious. I am glad that you’re alive today, and am sorry for your loss.

    Sherry,
This seems to be the case for many women. I am not downplaying your ordeal at all, but I don’t think doctors are being quite honest when they make it sound so exceedingly dangerous. It appears that many women don’t realize what is going on or don’t even have symptoms until their tube ruptures; nonetheless, the death toll is extremely low.
I found this very encouraging, and I hope you do too.
