The baby’s name is…

Current giveaway: Grandpa Jake's Campfire Cooker

…almost decided.

We seem to have narrowed the choices to 2 first names and 2 middle names, for a grand total of 4 possibilities.  By God’s good grace, we hope to have the joy of making the announcement tomorrow.

By way of a clue, both possible first names are Hebrew; both prospective middle names are virtue names.

    So is Elizabeth!
    Ack! So is Abigail!

I’ve got my girls covered with Hebrew names! Is it one of them?!

    And middle name:
    Faith? Grace? Joy? Peace-child? Didn’t-Cry-At-Birth?

  3. geenaa! :

    first name…hannah, naomi, — if they’re hebrew?

and middle names, Hope, Faith, Joy, Patience, or Grace?

  4. Jeana :

Oh, now that was not nice, teasing us with a title like that.

  5. Ariel :

I’m not sure I’m a fan of the teasing manner in which you revealed nothing but a clue!!! But regardless, I am looking forward to knowing the name!

  6. Jenny :

Looking forward to a name as well.
Not that it helps you any, but I gave all four of my kids TWO middle names. All for people in our lives. Such as my girls: first name Shelby, middle to Brooke Danielle (after my best friend who had died at age 16). Ch’ree first name, Elizabeth Kate middle (my middle name which has been handed down a few times to me, and my SIL’s middle name, handed down to her a few times). The boys middle names are Robert James (James was my maiden name) and Harper Allen for my youngest.

  7. KH :

I know of one girl whose name is Charis (pronounced “Karis”, but hebrew for grace ~ I think).
One other girl I know named her daughter the Hebrew name Chesed (pronounced “Kessid” though they constantly have to correct everyone as she is called cheese-id all the time. It’s getting old, fast!)
There are so many beautiful Hebrew names, though. Isn’t it fun picking out names !?!
I like Aria Faith…. Lydia Grace…. Mariah Hope… Esther is pretty, too!
    Congratulations,

  8. Ah, the SUSPENSE!!!

  9. Amy :

Hey, no pressure for that name!! My second son was “baby” for 10 days until the Lord imprinted on our hearts what his name should be- Samuel- asked of the Lord. The suspense “killed” grandparents and extended family though- LOL!!!

  10. First name – Abigail – Father’s Joy

Middle name is Mercy – For His mercies are new every morning.
