Who’s in Houston?

so, Dad...you gonna drink all that?

Besides us, I mean. Our family is in Houston for the Southeast Texas Home School Association Gulf Coast Home Educator’s Conference 2008 – or the Houston Homeschool conference, as I prefer to call it. I can hardly remember my own children’s names; how in the world would I retain and recall a name like that?

Is anybody planning on attending? Stop by the Vision Forum booth and have a look at my big fat ankles say hi in real life. If you don’t find me there, I’m probably in the restroom. I’ll be back in a minute, because no doubt I need to sit down and find a place to put up my left foot.

The later you come, the fatter my ankles will be, so plan your fun accordingly.

  1. Doh! I just moved to Houston last week and didn’t get through my blog catching up to find out you’d be there! I might have made a bigger effort to go! LOL

  2. It was so nice meeting you and your family at the SETHSA convention. My prayers are with you and the new baby.
    God Bless,
    Rebecca

i would send you a photo of my swollen feet 7 days before i had my last but i am afraid you would post it to your blog 🙂

  4. Someone snap a pic and post it for us all to se! He, he, he!

  5. Well, I can’t believe you’re still willing to travel! I pretty much just want to stay at home in my pajamas with my laptop, some chocolate, and an epidural 😉 Hang in there with that swelling! The bright side is that if you get bored you can always make shapes with your playdough calves. Blessings,

  6. We can’t make this one, as we will have just left H-town, all of my friends will be there so I will tell them to come by and gauk look at your ankles!

  7. I wish I was going just so I could meet you and look at your ankles in person, although, I’m SURE it would be worth the specail trip! Oh well, I guess we’ll have to meet through our mutal friend, Steph.

    Steph, hook us up! 😉

It’s not the best place to practice frugality – or maybe it is the perfect place to strengthen our willpower and resolve. […]
