Guess what I have…

A new pet!!

Today Becca (my 6yo sister) came inside and said
“Hey Lydia, do you want a new lizard ?”
I said “Yes! where is it?” and she said “Over here.”
She walked outside and over next to the stairs and then she pointed and said:
“There it is, in that box.” I looked in the box and a Anole lizard went scurrying
under the house.
Becca and I chased it under the house for approx. 3 minutes and then we finally caught it.
It changes color very fast and is a very fast runner.

Readers note: this is not a picture of the one that I have.

  2. Hi Kim, I really enjoy your bog. you are a great writer. And your new baby girl is lovely. I would suggest you take the link to Helpmeet in Training’s blog off of your website. It’s under the quiverful blogs. You may not realize what the current post is like. It sounds like she’s going through a really tough time. I’m not so sure it’s a helpful read for people looking for a quiverful mindset. I was a bit blown away by it. The most recent post is pretty strong. Blessings, Caroline

  3. What a gorgeous name for such a beautiful baby. Congratulations at last. Dig out the new born pictures of the girls to see which one she resembles the most. I think Deanna, Megan, Natalie and Rachael are out. Most likely it is Kaitlyn, Lydia and possibly Becca. They are all lovely, but perhaps she will start her own trend. God bless you all.

  4. Great blog site. What did you name your lizard. How was she able to catch it, those things are fast. My kids are always trying to get one!
