My friends at Plymouth Rock Ranch tagged me for the 6 Things meme. I think I’ve done this once before, but to lighten the mood around this joint I’m going to do it again. Besides, maybe I’ve gotten weirder since the last time.
At the risk of sounding egotistical, here are 6 things you simply must know about me:
- I have very long toes. So do my children. They make me think of the Spanish term for toes, which, translated literally, means “fingers of the feet.” We have fingers on our feet around here.
- I can juggle. Only 3 balls at a time, though I aspire to more.
- I can write backwards rather easily. My handwriting looks the same as when I write forward. Except that I often accidentally write my maiden name when I write backwards. I wonder what that means?
- I’m big-boned. Really. That’s why most people would never guess that I weigh *** lbs. At least, that’s what they used to tell me. And my shoe size proves it, too. I’ve finally given up and started buying size ** shoes. Wait, I mean *. I mean, never mind.
- I have a fingernail that grows in a slightly weird shape and is very hard to clip to a proper shape. I think it’s the one that got smushed under a newspaper machine when I was little.
- I love The Far Side. I think in terms of The Far Side. I think I may have been born on The Far Side. I am The Far Side.
I’m tagging my own family just in case they have bizarre secrets that of which I am ignorant:
- My hunney
- Deanna
- Kaitlyn
- Lydia
- Megan
- and my bff, Mother Hen. I know she has some bizarre secrets. Every Sunday when we chat, I find myself saying the same old line: You used to what???
The rules:
1. Link to the person who tagged you. Um…if you blog right here then you can skip this step, ok?
2. Post the rules on your blog.
3. Write six random things about yourself.
4. Tag sixish people at the end of your post.
5. Let each person know he or she has been tagged.
6. Let the tagger know when your entry is up.

OK, my meme is published for all the world to see.
Ha! I LOVE the Far Side! I love the one where the dog, cat and owner all bend down at once to get a ball and the bird in the cage is going “Yes…” and the caption reads “The coconut like sound of their heads colliding secretly delighted the bird” Ha, that is just one of hundreds that I love…
