Polish weirdness

More video weirdness. This time from a Polish Pastor friend of mine.He posted the video to Facebook and he and I had the following exchange:

Perry Coghlan III Today at 1:48pm
wow, Bubu I’m speechless. My American mind is having trouble reconciling stringed instruments with the heavy metal/ tough guy look of the band….

‘Bubu’ (Poland) Today at 1:58pm
and this makes me happy :-D

Perry Coghlan III Today at 2:33pm

  1. But, the boots with the dress, on a treadmill that is a neighborhood? And a belt that could double as a truss? I take it they weren’t conveying the Gospel message in their song? Yeah, it was odd in a lot of ways.

  2. Well the dress is apparently the polish equivalent of a kilt…

  3. I switched out the video with the one I originally intended to post (blame my sick cold infested brain)

Here is the one that Jenny was commenting on

    enjoy!

  4. Wow…

That is something like Tevya meets Michael Flatley meets…um…I have no idea how far to take that.

And actually, that was highly entertaining. I really liked it, even though I couldn’t understand the words! Keepin’ us cultured, Perry. Thank you!

  5. I loved both of these videos! did BuBu give any indication, what the songs are saying?

  6. Melanie,

No but I will ask him on facebook and then I will post it here!

  7. I really liked this song, I really did. I might be biased because I am a stringed instrument player, but my son was dancing around too. I would really like to know what the song was actually about though.
