Homeschool Blog Awards (dad’s edit)
Perry III's edit:
Please do not vote for INASHOE in the "Live what you Believe" category.
Please Vote for "Our Homeschool and Other Such Happenings" instead. Read THIS POST and I think you will agree with us THEY ARE truly living what they believe.
edit: I'm bumping this post to the top once more for old time's sake. Voting closes Friday at midnight.
I'm copying a great idea from a great friend: sticky stuff. This post is going to stick to the top for a bit because it's very important to me to hubby to the children to the hard-working folks running the Homeschool Blog Awards. Just scroll down to see new stuff.
The voting has been going for several days at Homeschool Blog Awards and we're honored to have been nominated in 2 categories. Thank you to those who have nominated and/or voted for us!
- Best Family or Group Blog (we're in 3rd place here, less than 40 votes behind the front-runner!)
- Best "Live-What-You-Believe" Blog (we're way down in 5th place here, but also less than 40 votes from first place.) edit: Take a long hard look at the candidates here. I might not have voted for myself if I had looked first. There are others who are right in the thick of living what they believe, and they are doing it to the glory of God.
If you haven't voted yet, please take a few minutes to do so. May the best shoe - er, blog win. After all, it's all about winning. Oop, I mean not. Did I forget to say "not"? Bad Kim! It's not all about winning. Not. Not. Even though we've never won. Oh, did I say that out loud?
But don't do it for hubby and me. Do it for the children - our children. They blog here too, and I'm sure they would love to win, as long as they don't have to go onstage to do it. Right, girls?

Thanks for the link. I voted for ya days ago!
I keep trying to vote, and it keeps telling me that I have already voted even though I have not. I am horribly saddened. No one else around here has voted either, so I can only deduce that it is a conspiracy.
I gladly voted for ya.
Oooh, best of luck to you all!!! Congrats on the nomination!
i went and voted for you! you help to make my mornings each day
I just voted and am thrilled to see you’re #1 in both catagories now! Yeah!
I just voted for you, too!
Voted
and you are #1 in both categories!
I wasn’t able to vote, like someone else said – it said I had already voted. I will try to get to it from another route.
Gwendolyn and Bethany,
Are you using the AOL browser? It think the way AOL is, only one person can vote from there. Maybe you should try voting from Internet Explorer.
I voted for you, and your in first place!!!
Meanwhile, here’s a little award you have won:

my my what happened to that sweet little boy?
With all due respect for your request, I humbly submit that your family has also lived what you believe, even through the saddest of times. And, as a regular reader of your blog, I was still required to vote for you and your family, or not vote according to my convictions. Since I know how strongly you feel about voting according to one’s convictions, I think you will understand. But I am now praying for that precious family, and I thank you for drawing our attention to them.
