This works great! Of course I only have 2 kids and they usually pick something I would be buying anyway. We all packed into the Suburban to head to a friend's house and our battery was dead because the alternator is going. We got a jump but it was too risky to drive knowing the alternator can go completely at any second. Our sweet friends ended up picking us up and then lending us their spare Suburban until hubby fixes the part this weekend. God is good! We, too, take all seven of our children shopping with us! The older ones are a huge help and the younger ones are in training! They all do a great job! However, hubby has taken all of them lately because I am still waiting for morning (all day) sickness to END! UGH! LOL! We had a similar day! You're very lucky that you have a husband to take care of fixing the car (I'm single and have to do stuff like that myself and I hate it) and of course you know how lucky you are to have all those great kids. I have a friend who needs to learn from you regarding the begging. She only has one child and tells her 50 times "If you ask for popcorn again there will be no treats tomorrow."
