Maybe you’re not as excited as I am, but then again maybe you are: WordPress 2.7, Release Candidate 1 is officially ready. That means that even responsible, conservative people can upgrade now without apologizing for being impetuous.
You’ll love it. We’ve been loving it for weeks and upgrading nightly as they tweak it, because upgrading is just that easy now. Sorry.

It’s easy to go to wordpress.com. It’s much harder to go to your own domain, but worth it if you’ve got the determination to climb the learning curve.

We have our own domain and somewhere you can make it go to your own blog, etc. who knows how I do that either. I will ask the hubby 
I upgraded to 2.7, but had weird results on my main blog where I actually had a scheduled post show up as “Missed Schedule”– how odd.
I also have a plugin running that gives me a neat menu system for WP, so I’m not sure that I want to give that up yet.
It is nice, though!
