I am with you!!! And last week we were in a relative's home that pretty much could be summed up two words---cluttered and filthy. My sweet 16 yo sent me a text message that said " Mom--I LOVE our clean house. I love your neat-freakedness. Thank you!" I told her I was keeping that text message forever!

So all you moms of unappreciative littles--hang in there! It DOES make a difference and they WILL appreciate it at some point!

I'm with you! I love the new category title: Mom is neurotic - HA! At least you are neurotic and nice. I am working on getting from neurotic and grumpy to neurotic and nice. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me...

Jennifer, I, too, have 6 (well, it was supposed to be 7 by 5 Dec - I'm still waiting) small children who do not share my NEED. I sympathise. I don't dare ask them if they think I'm neurotic.

In Him

Ashamed? Why would I be ashamed? That would imply that being CDO was a problem! ;-) Yep, I'm afraid that sums me up pretty well too. Which means that there is great potential for the Lord to grow my character since I have six little children who don't seem to share my NEED for orderliness.

How Funny! I think that quote relates to my son (only 2 years old). He has to always line things up or catergorize them. For example, the letters on the fridge are never scattered around, oh no, they are in perfect straight lines. When he is coloring he has to line his crayons up and then color with each one, in turn, in the proper order. Where did this come from?!

I love this quote! Pretty sure my hubby would say that it applies to me. Oh well, a little order never hurt anyone. :)
