Happy belated birthday to the prettiest girl in the world
From Perry:
My Hunney has been very faithful, over the life of our blog(s), to do birthday posts honoring the birthday person in question. The rest of us have been terribly negligent in reciprocating. Her birthday posts have usually taken the form of a number of things you should know about the birthday person in question, the number corresponding to the age of the birthday person in question. Therefore in as much as it was her birthday a week ago and it takes one husband and 6 kids a week to get their act together and furthermore since a gentleman never reveals a lady's age we present our list of 28 things we love about our Hunney, Mom, Mama, Mommie each in our own words.
So without further ado here are our lists

I’m speechless. I want to read this every day for the rest of my life – not so that I can hear you all praise me, but so I can remember what is important to my family.
I love y’all. Thank you, hunney, for pulling this together. Best gift ever.
What an amazing tribute. I love that you’re “observative” and put up with the kids “when they are boogers.” Priceless!
How precious! I loved seeing all the photos of your family. Happy New Year! I hope the Lord blesses you abundantly this year as you seek Him!

This is precious! Something for mom to cherish forever. Maybe to print out and hang on the fridge as a reminder during some of those “more harried” mom moments! happy birthday!

Happy Birthday!
What a wonderful blessing for your birthday! You have a great family!
LOL The dog-poop picking up is a great example of Christlikeness. Not one I want to emulate though, thanks.
Absolutely priceless. Made me cry. Thank you for your blog, and the reminder of why we do what we do. Thanks, Perry and girls, for appreciating your wife/mother for all the right reasons.
Lois, very happy mom of 8!!
(in the process of adopting #8!)
This is so wonderful to read! Brings a tear to the eye… Hey! Is that chicken pot pie recipe on your blog somewhere????

Happy birthday. Thanks to your family for sharing you with us.
Aaawww! *wiping tears from face*
You are a precious family! God bless y’all!
OH HOW AMAZING!
I noticed several things:
your kids loved having ice cream for breakfast the other day.
You all do a lot of reading.
You get credit for teaching them to tie their shoes…I do not. No one remembers that mom taught them anything. LOL
Happy Birthday, KimC! God bless you this new year.
Sweet list.

Hello…just reading this again…this gives me such mixed emotions: gratitude that my family sees me this way, and guilt that I don’t do all these things more and better.
Lord, please help me be more like the woman my precious family thinks I am. And thank you for a family that sees me through rose-colored lenses, loving me in spite of all my shortcomings and faults.
Just precious! I love this.
Happy Birthday and a Blessed New Year, Kim! You look well to the ways of your household, your children call you blessed, and your husband also, and he praises you! The Lord is already answering your prayers!
This is absolutely amazing.
Happy birthday!!! And yay for lots of reading…
…as in, reading many many wonderful books…realized after I posted that that could possibly be misunderstood!
Happy Birthday!
What more could you possibly ask for? Nothing! What a blessed family you have, and what a blessed gift they gave.
Blessings,
Jill J
Kim,
I, too, was thinking what blessing it is that our hubby and children always see the best in us. Just the other day, I had to apologize for yelling. The kids eyes got real wide, and they said, “But Mom, you didn’t yell!!”
Okaaayyyy…but I did.
This list just shows how much our kiddos love us, and see the best in us. I am so often humbled when my hubby or kids tell me what a good mom I am. I KNOW myself, and I know the facts. But their unconditional love carries me thru many a day.
Happy belated birthday!
Dawn(mom of 10)
