April Fool’s Day came and went this year with hardly a giggle in our house. Sure, we played a few jokes but nearly all were verbal and immediately followed by shouts of “April Fool’s!” The shouts were hardly necessary since they were invariably preceded by raised eyebrows and skeptical faces.
Hubby was mean enough to call his poor, long-suffering mother and other relatives, raising false hopes of a surprise visit to Tennessee. tsk, tsk.

I drive school bus and I taped fishing line to a dollar bill, when the kids would go to pick it up I then yanked on the line. Many of them fell fo it hook, line and sinker.
My dear kiddos got to do an unsolvable maze for schoolwork yesterday!
Also, a local radio station had people falling for a new state law that wouldn’t allow women to drive SUVs…. my sister and hubby both fell for it!
Those surprise visits are to TENNESSEE???? Where? That is so close to me in south central Kentucky. We are actually 2 hours ne of Nashville. Next time you DO surprise them, maybe we can meet up somewhere. I’d love to meet you.
I asked one of my nearby friends if she’d seen the beached whale on our town beach yet. Got a call back fifteen minutes later asking if it was still alive, since she’d called her husband at work to share the news and was on her way out the door with little ones in tow. Spared her the trip, but she decided to carry it on to prank her husband after work
