Eyes: the windows of the soul

Vision Forum Deal of the Day: save 40-90%!

It’s been a while since I have had time to participate in Sunday Stills but the most recent assignment caught my attention. The uniqueness of eyes has always fascinated me, because if you know someone well enough then you can recognize their eyes anywhere. It’s such a subtle yet obvious difference from one person to the next. You could almost say that your personality is written on your eyes.  So as a challenge to all of you, I’m not going to tell whose eyes are whose. To be fair I ‘ll tell whose eyes are there but not the order. Alrighty then, here we have (not necessarily in this order) :

Megan

Lydia

Perry IV

Bethany

Deanna

Can you guess who is who?

    Wonderful post!

I did get Bethany and Perry’s pics correct, but I didn’t label your older daughter’s pictures correctly. Their eyes are sparkly, full of life and dreamy, full of innocence.

Thank you for this post. It reminded me of something important to me. I always want my children to look me in the eye when I speak to them or they to me. If I say something wrong, surely they will see my shame in my eyes, and if they are disobedient surely they will see my sadness in my eyes and ask for forgiveness. It is hard for me to be harsh when I look into their eyes, but sometimes, I allow myself to be bust, and correct them from another room and sometimes too harshly.

I will remember this post often. Thank you again!
