I have a young daughter who is a "unique" dresser as well! She loves a great outfit or costume! I love it!
I also love her advice "Just where something pretty because boys will be there." Now that could relate to the modesty issue, but I assume you all have that taken care of...so I took it to mean that she was giving her "advice" about looking pretty...for the boys! :) very cute.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

The things girls come up with !!!!

What would an inappropriately dressed girl do if a chivalrous boy said to her, "Please, you would look so much more becoming if you were covered all the way."?

I do get a bit nervous when we go to the river out here and there are lots of people...we don't like to go out there at those times because of all the unclad bodies, so we choose to go at off times and choose a place that's away from people. We do this to preserve my son's eyes. It's an interesting discussion, isn't it??

Thank God that there are families out there which choose to have their girls dress tastefully, modestly and beautifully!

Yeah, they're homeschooled. I'm saying that in a good way.

I've caught Patrick holding his hand "up" when he speaks to girls with their cleavage out all over the place. I guess it keeps his eyes from wandering but it's so rude! Then again... what is he gonna do? It's *right there,* you know?

I have mixed feelings about it. Once he ran away when someone in a bikini crossed his line of vision. Now, if every young man did that...

But it's just "weird" when he does it? How should we train our young men to function in the world when it's "in our face" all the time? How to be loving... but not *too* loving if you know what I mean.

Sigh. I wish more kids dressed as your girls because it would make the teen years so much easier for *all* young men.
