I may have been mistaken.
This morning, hubby and 5 kids are throwing up.
On the bright side, I’m not throwing up yet. And only one person has missed the toilet, sink, or puke pot.
And maybe everyone will be better in time for the big river cookout on the rented pavilion tomorrow. Maybe?

So sorry to hear this. Same thing with us when we went to TX to our married daughter’s house for Christmas last year. We had 12 sick people out of 15 all sick in the same house for a week. Oh bla………

I am sorry about the sickness…on our recent trip I had one sick child on the way home, then another a few days later. No one else got sick so hopefully the rest of you wont either!

Your trip reminds me of this past December, when our family went to Atlanta for my brother-in-law’s wedding. After driving all over the city to find the right shoes for our daughter to be the flower girl, we were late and missed the entire rehearsal! So embarrassed, we still decided to go the the rehearsal dinner.
Late, and in a fancy resturaunt, our kids start vomiting at the table. I spent the rest of the night washing out there clothes in the bathroom, and then we left early…Oh what a night!

I’m glad that you have all the excitement for the rest of us. Although with none of our 9 children having had the chicken pox, I may have considered the drive out to TX just to have them exposed, well of course we would have loved to have met you all also!

It seems we’re not alone in experiencing tummy bugs on the road. We did it on our way to Colorado a couple of years ago. My brave 6 yod (at the time) sat in the back of the car with a Walmart bag to catch any throw up her 3 yod sister had from Amarillo to Colorado Springs where it seemed to subside. I got it the next morning. There is nothing worse than being 6 months pregnant (with #5) and tummy sick in a hotel by yourself. I prayed that whole day that no one else would get sick. They didn’t. God was good. We’ll be praying healing for your whole family and strong immunity for those who aren’t sick.
