If you live outside the US and you’ve ever ordered from Vision Forum – or tried to order from Vision Forum - you were probably frustrated at the cost of shipping.
That’s changed now.
After a lot of hard work and anticipation from within, a new system is finally in place! International customers can now place an order and pay actual shipping!
Actually, this applies to domestic customers as well: shipping charges are now calculated on weight and size rather than estimates based upon the dollar value of your order. This means that you’ll pay just over over $2 to ship a CD first class.
I have to admit that I don’t pay shipping charges from Vision Forum unless you count the kiss that I give my hunney when he brings me something new from the warehouse, but I have been quietly pushing for this change for a long time. I’m not saying that my pushiness helped speed things along. I just wanted you to know that I was on your side.
Now click one of my links. Wait. That was NOT subtle, was it?
I mean, please. You know, if you were already going to order, or if you were thinking about it. Or if you’re so excited about the change that you want to show your gratitude by placing a small order. Or a large order. Especially if you live outside the US, because I can almost guarantee that they are watching the stats on international orders right now to see if the new system makes a difference.
Or you could just leave a comment to let us know that we’re not alone in thinking this new shipping system was a great idea. But I really like the idea where you order through my link. I’m just saying.

I think this will be wonderful news. Recently I began paying 40% of my order total for shipping which was really making it difficult (esp. with the drop in our dollar against yours). I must say, though, that I am sure there were times when it worked the other way. For example, when I ordered lots of books.
Tell them not to change it too quickly. I just got through ordering the new Johnny Park and a couple of other things, so I’ve got to work up another order. It may take me a little while.

Thanks for letting us know about the new shipping policy! We live here in the States, and just placed our first order when they had the $25 off sale. My daughter has been saving for the Liberty doll for months, and she was finally able to order her! She is so excited! We are tracking her progress through UPS for a bit of a geography lesson. My daughter is talking about Alice (the name she’s given her doll) as though she’s on an exciting road trip.
Anyway, there are clothes she is interested in eventually purchasing for Alice, and I think the new shipping will make it a bit easier, since I would imagine doll clothes are fairly light weight. She will be excited to find out the shipping won’t be quite as expensive as she first thought. 
So exciting! Now I know I will order from Vision Forum much more often.
PS: Did kittykait ever go to the “Come to Boston in Costume”, Reformation 500. Did she get to make her dress? If so, please post some pics, I would love to see!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Our kids all say a big rousing Thank you. We LOVE Vision Forum stuff, but have been hindered from buying it directly because of the shipping rates. I will be putting in my order soon. Thanks again.

Sounds like a good change to me. I live in never-never land (APO) so any shipping times are iffy; it’s nice to at least get a decent rate.
I am in San Antonio right now, i know that there is a store here. Is it open to the public? what are the hours?
Oh happy day!!! This is good news indeed. We are in the UK and have put off ordering from Vison Forum in the past because of the shipping charges (we have ordered from Amazon or CBD instead). So thank you for your intercession! Now, if they would only make Behemoth accessible to people outside the USA …..
Oh, that’s good news! I have never ordered from VF, but I was seriously considering it once – until I calculated what the shipping would cost… Maybe now I’ll save up to buy something!
