Seeing folks’ comments reminds me of the little church Erik and I were a part of when we were single. When someone would be announcing an engagement (we went from brother/sister relationship to engaged…no courtship or dating or anything), we would sing a song during worship that went, “There’s a wedding….coming on…Christ is coming….for His bride…she makes ready…Love is welling in her heart…Angels gather…somethingsomethingsomething” (Sorry, can’t remember it all.) Anyway, those who didn’t know that it was the engagement song would be trying to close their eyes and “worship”, while the rest of us would be going nuts, throwing rolls of toilet paper around (yes, in church!) and waiting to hear the “reveal” of who it was that was getting married! It was so funny to observe the clueless people, as they would glare at the revelers and try to “enter back in” to worship!
Anyway, this post reminded me of that.
Color me clueless, because I know the news and I still don’t get how this post is a clue. Congratulations anyway!
