Last week we had the great pleasure of meeting a blog-friend and her family! Of course I forgot to take out the camera – will I ever learn? – but we had a wonderfully relaxed visit with Jeri, John and the kids, and we sent 2 pups home with them.
That’s right: I have pics of the pups but not our friends. I’m a baaaad blogger.
We knew they were here when one of my kids ran into the house: “Mom! Somebody is here in a white van like ours but CLEAN!” I knew they were really and truly readers of our blog because they came bearing gifts – chocolate gifts, in pink and blue! How fun is that?
We spent a lot of time petting pups, chatting about kids and politics, swapping stories, and generally getting to know each other. Then it was time to go. When will you be in town again, Jeri?
Who’s next? We offer special friend prices on our pups for blog readers who make time to stay and visit!

Oh no! Since my husband is there right now I am kind of afraid he might come home with a dog.
I hope he and Perry have a good visit. I am looking forward to meeting you one day Kim! We are planning to attend Sola Scriptura, any chance you will be there? We also have SAIFF on the calendar for a year from now.
Beautiful Puppies!!!
Sounds great! Can we leave our Jack Russell with you?
I am not allowed to have a dog, but I would LOVE to meet the Coughlan’s and I’m only 4ish hours away! (I say -ish cause I know you are near San Antonio, but not what direction in relation to me).
According to mapquest, 4 hrs and 20 minutes from Bandera–which mapquest also tells me San Antonio is half an hour closer to me than it is, and doesn’t want to give me the route that makes the most sense to take, but thats an estimate, anyway. I live about an hour south of Houston, so east of you. I don’t generally go to San Antonio, as if I need something from the “big city” Houston is definitely much closer, but I’ve been thinking of taking a vacation, and it’s on my list of considerations, so if I decide to go there, I will definitely let you know!
I was scolling my mouse over those ADORABLE puppy pictures ad noticed they were title something like this.
Braveheart sit
Liberty profile
Are those their temporary name or just a my computer teasing me?
Faith,
Those are temporary names so we can keep them straight until they go to new homes. Much easier than, “that really light-colored puppy with the cute face.”
Dear Mrs. C.,
Are you making a new look? I liked the old one better.
Lulu
SavedGirl and Faith,
Don’t worry – we were just having trouble with a new feature and changed the theme to see if there was a conflict. The old look is back now!
I agree with SavedGirl. I also like the old look. I enjoy coming here everyday and seeing your family.
Maybe you should take a poll
What a wonderful surprise to wake up and find this post in our inbox. Adam read it and asked “Can we get a puppy?” and then smiled.
) Silly boy. As if Daisy (she has a name) and the boy (maybe we should call him Perry?) don’t keep him busy enough! They really like Duke, but we didn’t bring Duke home. Although a friend suggested we keep Liberty and name the boy Justice. How would that be? But my kids think other wise. So for now he’s just ‘come here puppy’.

It was such a great visit with your family. So hard to believe a week has almost gone by. One day we should surely come again. Or you can take a day trip to us! We’re only 2h40m away! But of course we don’t have anything enticing like puppies. So glad you enjoyed the candy/gum.
Anyone considering the puppies: Goooooo….they are yummy, full of puppy breath (the best isn’t?), fat fat fat, soft, cuddly, so sweet, playful, sharp teeth
). So go visit this beautiful family…and be sure to take home a puppy!
We would love to come get one of these little guys! They are so adorable! Those names are too cute.
