See the skirt Kaitlyn designed for me with fabric from Marie Madeline? It’s just the right length and width to wear low on my hips now, but still long enough to wear around my waist after the baby is born.
So guess what?

I think I would go for as much fabric as possible…starting with Dolce Dolce and more Dolce! Thanks for a chance ladies.
I would get a 2 gallon scrap bag and a pattern!
I like the below the knee street fair skirt. I’m not a strictly no-pants lady myself but I do want to start building up a bigger skirt wardrobe and start emphasizing feminine clothing more. I’m going to have a perfect opportunity soon too as I don’t think many of my pre-baby clothes will fit (this is my first) and I really hope I don’t stay in these maternity ones too long after the birth! I’ve seen Marie Madeline clothing before but didn’t realize they made ladies sizes as well, I’m happy to learn that!
I am not sure. I like them all. But I guess honestly fabric wise I would get something from the black and white, though I like the navy jane one too…(not its full name) And I like some of the patterns alot. So I would be spending a ton of time, weighing out ides and thoughts before I ordered anything.
Thank you for the chance to win.

Wow…..feel like I’m a little ol’ needle in a haystack (of 290+ comments!), but who can resist such a give-away?!
I still love the Tessa Bloomers because I have an almost 12 yo daughter, who is learning to be a “lady” but still loves to be a wee bit “rough”! (my “feminine tom-boy”) Our life in the countryside of Mongolia would be a great place to wear an “almost skirt”…..I can just see her sashaying her way to the well for the daily load of water! (no, she doesn’t “sashay”, thank goodness…..more like skip, run, race the neighbor boy….grin) So….depending on how energetic I’m feeling at the time, if I won I would MAYBE order the pattern for the tessa bloomers, so there was money left for other choices…..like those orange and bright pink fabrics…..2 colors that should OFTEN go together, whenever possible!! Thanks for the giveaway….and a fun blog. Lisa
