You didn’t know it, but I’ve been publishing test posts all afternoon. That’s because none of them showed up. Which is why I was testing. But I’ve heard that the 9th time is a charm, or something like that. Here’s hoping.
On the bright side, I’ll have learned something new when I finally figure out the problem. Until then, I’m learning patience and self-control, because what I’d really like to do is throw the computer over the deck rail and panic about my broken blog.

It would have been awful quiet on the blog if it were a live blog day. I couldn’t post any updates at all for the entire day! It wouldn’t even accept new comments!

We’ve been praying for your Dad and have been watching for an update. If you posted one, we missed it. Do hope surgery went well and that the recovery is coming along smoothly.
Glad you are back. I thought there was a problem with my computer–left a note with Smockity if she could contact you to contact me as to why my screen went blank when I was trying to leave a comment about drying pasta. Anyway, I am glad you were able to fix things and your computer was not damaged.
We would surely miss you!
