Can’t afford to tour Europe in person?

Current giveaway: The Last Pilgrims book: ends 2/23

Join the club.  Our family trip to Rome is still a figment of our imaginations.  But at least you can do it vicariously.  For just $59, Vision Forum will give you an Online Tour Pass so you can log in for:

  • Daily Lectures and Messages: Exclusive daily video messages from the locations that built Western Civilization on subjects ranging from military history to theology to architecture.
  • Interactive Study Course: You can send your questions in to our teachers who will answer many of them via video which will be posted and made available through a private link.
  • Study Material: During the tour, we will pose regular study questions and direct you to additional resources to expand your studies.
  • Advance MP3 Collection of all the audio recorded in the field.  The price on this alone will go up once it’s been edited and mass released.

Sounds like fun, doesn’t it?  And it’s actually cheaper than if you just wait for the audio.  The tour starts today (May 2) and goes through May 15, but you can catch up if you start late since the complete video tour, photos, and archives will be accessible through the month of July.  That means you can use it for your homeschool projects (don’t tell the kids it’s school!), continued study, or reference purposes when you receive your MP3 Tour lectures.

That does sound great! We just love your blog – and Vision Forum. I am a little curious as to if you know if a lot of large families are able to join this tour – or do they take just some of the children? It just seems so impossible to do given the price. Do you have any hints as to how they do it? – What kind of work my husband should switch to?:) So- just curious as to if you have any inside info:)

Also – I would love a book/cookbook update! We can’t wait to buy them when they come out!

    – and congrats on the exercise! That was a great post!!

We’d love to be able to do this–but we cannot get affordable high speed internet (and we live in the middle of a very good medium sized city). Any ideas on how to convince AT&T to extend their DSL another 1000 feet?

I got the e-mail from Vision Forum yesterday. The course looks really great! I hope its available in a couple of years when I have kids ready for it. I’d take it myself but I don’t seem to find two seconds for myself these days. My dream, though is to be able to take the family on a trip like this. My husband and I started falling in love in Rome and would love to take a 25th anniversary trip back. (With or without children.) We have 8 years to save for this. Better get my Etsy biz going.

Vision Forum has the BEST stuff ever! It looks wonderful as usual.

We have kinda gone on our own tours of Europe before, by typing in famous locations using google maps. We were able to stand and look up at the Eiffel tower. That was fun!
