To kick things off, we have the privilege of giving away one $50 gift certificate for one of our favorite online shops run by some of our very best friends, Marie Madeline Studio!

The sweet young ladies at Marie Madeline Studio have just filled their home and their shop with loads of beautiful new cheerful fabric.  Choose your favorites for your own projects or let the Longs whip up an apron or skirt for you from their own patterns.

Standard giveaway rules:

  1. For your first entry, visit the sponsor’s site, then come back and tell me what you think. Be honest and original.  By original, I mean say something more descriptive than, “Nice site.”  You’ll have to, because if you say that my spam filter will shoot on site.  By honest, I mean say something nice.  If you don’t like the site, then you don’t want to enter the giveaway so you don’t need to comment.  Right?  Right.
  2. For up to 3 extra entries, post about this giveaway on your blog, Facebook, and Twitter.  Please be a friend and make my life easy by leaving a separate comment here for each place that you share about the giveaway.
  3. I’ll take entries on this giveaway for 7 days, then I will choose a random winner. If I procrastinate and/or forget to choose the winner, I will eventually choose the winner from among those entries that were submitted within the first 7 days.  Deal?

  11. I love all the colorful fabrics at Marie Madeline as well as their clothing, aprons and bags. I have a little girl and another girly on the way and would probably get something for them (our Gracie would love a Gracie skirt 🙂 if I won the giveaway.

  12. Overall the Marie Madeline site is great. I think it would be great if they could make the pictures a bit larger and really show off those awesome outfits and patterns they have to offer. I love love LOVE the fabrics!! I would have such a hard time deciding which group I liked best. And I would definitely need some patterns to go with all that fabric! The Gracie Ruffle Skirt Pattern is my favorite!

  13. Elizabeth says:

I loved the lay out of the site, I think some background color would be great though! SOOOO many cute items and fabrics! I would probably get a couple of patterns for sewing for my girls, especially that ADORABLE jumper pattern!

  14. To be honest, I found the Marie Madeline site a bit… confusing, or just layed out in a way that is busy to the eye. Otherwise, the fabrics are darling! I just might find some fabric to use for the curtains I’ve been wanting to make for my kitchen!

  15. I love their site, and try not to drool on the computer. DH frowns on that… I would love to get some of their fabric.

  16. The fabrics always make me want to sew something fun like an apron. Cheerful colors and prints don’t always work for me, but for something that’s not regular apparel, they’re perfect. I would love to do some little girl dresses in them. Some of the patterns have a lot of potential.

  17. I have been wanting to order from Marie Madeline for some time now. Just waiting on finances…
I love their fabric choices; although, there are sooo many beautiful fabrics, it is hard to decide! Their products are very feminine and modest- (two much needed characteristics for our society).

  18. My favorite thing about this shop is the colourful materials they sell. I haven´t been able to find such fun, bright, hopeful material to do quilts or handbags.

  19. Love the fabrics &, patterns. Wonderful colors that any girl would love.

  20. I love their blog and selling website! I think they keep it simple and short so they get their message across and product out there. I love the bright colors they use and family photos! I’m a big fan! ?

  21. I like the simple header and the bright and cheery colors of the fabrics!

  22. I check MM studio quite frequently-I love their colors, patterns and fabrics! I especially love their Chic sisters aprons and Route 66 skirts. 🙂
