4 Moms giveaway: Large Family Logistics!!!

This giveaway closed on 7/13/2011. Large Family Logistics book for moms of many

We’re really excited about this, and we think you will be too.  Did you see the 3 exclamation points at the end of this post title?  Think about it: how often have you seen me do that?  I am not an excitable person (unless there’s a scorpion in my bed).  But this, this is exciting!

Each of the 4 Moms is going to give away a free copy of Large Family Logistics by Kim Brenneman, highly organized mom of 10 kids.  Enter at all 4 of our blogs to pump up your chances of winning – you’re allowed!

And why do you think we’re giving away copies of Large Family Logistics?

Because we’re going to spend the month of August blogging through the book and we want you to join us.  We’re going to do 4 consecutive weeks of linkies!  The more, the merrier, so get ready and tell all your blogging friends to get ready too!

About the book:

Moms have many tasks to tackle and obstacles to overcome: the laundry monster, household clutter and cleaning needs, caring for babies and little ones, menu planning and mealtime routines, town outings, homeschooling, bill paying—and even more!

Like many wives and mothers, author Kim Brenneman didn’t start out with all of the answers. She struggled to figure out: What do I do next? What’s the best way to actually do the many things that need to be done? And how do I get everything accomplished in a 24-hour day and keep my sanity?

In Large Family Logistics, Kim outlines practical solutions she has learned to effectively manage a busy household. This how-to manual is filled with step-by-step procedures, easy-to- understand organizational advice, and a myriad of tips and hints for managing a bustling home with greater efficiency in a way that honors God and builds up family relationships.

Sensible and straightforward, Kim tackles the nitty- gritty, day-to-day challenges moms face and also offers sound counsel on how to plan and accomplish long-term domestic goals. An invaluable home management resource that will equip busy moms to get beyond survival mode and thrive!

  1. Clothes, books, toys, tools… you name it, I would love to learn about getting it looking nice. Somehow, on that great conveyor belt in the sky, some angel in charge of inserting the ‘organizing gene’ in ladies apparently skipped this one. Thanks for this wonderful giveaway.

  2. Need help organinzing in the kitchen!!!!

  3. LAUNDRY!!! The laundry monster is never appeased no matter how many socks I sacrifice to it.

  4. Dealing w/ hand-me-downs. We save a TON of money by recycling clothing, but it has to be boxed away for a couple of years before the next child grows into it. I am forever behind on the box shuffle.

  5. Laundry, definitely laundry!

  6. Laundry…definitely LAUNDRY!

  7. I need help keeping the clutter off all my surfaces!!

  8. Kristin says:

I need help with how to keep the kitchen clean! With the constant supply of meals and snacks when does the kitchen close?

  9. The most help?

    My head, heart and emotions.

A household of young children and my expectations seem to get all out of whack on a regular basis.

  10. Keeping track of who got what done! I feel like I’m constantly making them responsible for their spaces!

  11. Jessalyn says:

My kids rooms are a disaster!!!!! I need to better organize them!

  12. The bedrooms, no the laundry room. Wait, the living room. No, make that the kitchen……=D

  13. I have the most difficulty with clutter. Specifically children’s clothes and toys. I have little girls who like toys with lots of tiny pieces. I keep all sizes and seasons of clothing to pass down. It saves money, but the space it takes makes me crazy.

  14. We are homeschooling 3 boys and REALLY need help with organization….school supplies, groceries, toys…you name it!

  17. Theresa Ewing says:

I need help with some sort of cleaning schedule

  18. The biggest problem in our house is storage. I get the whole “a place for everything, and everything in it’s place” but it seems I can’t figure out WHERE to put everything so we have a spot. Also, I have two teen/ preteenagers then a gap and a four year old. I have book/ school book storage issues. I’m holding on to school supplies, manipulatives and books for the little one but we’re busting out at the seams around here.

  19. allie b says:

Awesome! My laundry room and storage spaces in general.

I reviewed it and blogged about it AND gave away a copy….yet with all of that, I don’t actually own a copy for myself (I borrowed my sister’s and bought a copy to give away b/c it’s THAT good of a book). Room that needs the most help? (Yeah, I still have one….still working through ALL the tips in the book) “THAT” room….call it a “spare”, a “storage” room….just don’t call it what it really is….a “junk” room. UGH!

  22. Valerie says:

My piling-up paperwork needs the most help!

  27. I don’t enter every giveaway, but this is one I’d love to win! Reading the Large Family Logistics blog indirectly led me to your blog.
Right now, my bedroom is the room that could use the most attention. But the bathroom and the kitchen wouldn’t mind some time either…
