If you’ve been here long, you know we are partial to Vision Forum and you also know why.  I’m creating this post as a reference of sorts, for future sales.  This way whenever a broad discount is launched by Vision Forum and I’m encouraging you to use my affiliate link to go shopping, I can just point you toward this page for some ideas on how to use it.

When new products come out that we particularly enjoy and recommend, I’ll try to remember (are you laughing at that phrase?  Me? Remember?) to add them to this page.

Feel free to link to the this page, of course.  And when I say, “Feel free,” what I really mean is, “Please, link to my page!  Tell all your friends about my page!  Mention it on Facebook and your blog!  I made this for you!!!!!

Jonathan Park Adventures - Creation science at its best! Tune in to listen to the continuing adventures of the Park and Brenan families. Captivating for listeners of all ages while it teaches the truth of biblical, six-day creation. Each adventure is based on real places and scientific discoveries!

Christian Worldview Training Set (22 CDs) by Greg Bahnsen.  Very important.  We have listened to this as a family several times.

History of the World Megapack – Aptly named.  So much to learn here!

Books for children

Princess Adelina

Ballantyne Christian Adventure Classics – Rich vocabulary, strong gospel message, fast-moving adventures for all.  Favorite individual titles in our house:

Ten P’s in a Pod – The book that inspired us to form the habit of daily Bible reading.

The Birkenhead Drill – a precursor the Titanic tragedy and a good antidote to the modern romanticized version of the Titanic story.  Every boy used to know the story of the sinking of the Birkenhead and the selfless sacrifices of the men on board for the sake of women and children.

The Backyard Homestead

Thoughts for Young Men – The first time I read this I couldn’t wait to have a boy and start applying it!

Videos

Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed DVD - not from a Christian perspective, but a devastating expose’ of the evolutionary bias inside the science community.

We Cannot But Speak (DVD)

Demographic Winter (DVD) – The global birthrate is declining with such ferocity, that many nations may cease to be—not through invasion, but simply because there are not enough children being born to replace the aging population. The effects will be severe and long lasting and are already becoming manifest in much of Europe.

Toys

Snapshot Rubber Band Gun (too. much. fun. we have to hide these at the conferences.)

English Adventurer’s Sword and William Wallace Sword (hubby’s own idea and a great hit since it was first added to the catalog)

Dagger and Sheath

Heroines of Christ’s Kingdom Paper Doll Set (6 Doll Sets also available individually)

All-American Pop Gun

The Beautiful Girlhood Doll Collection - Of course you don’t need all 4 (unless you have 4 daughters), but they are lovely and we always have a couple in our house.

  1. Heatherr says:

I have the ‘Passionate Housewives Desperate for God’ Love it. I have to thank you for one that your husband and one of your sweet daughters encoraged me on at the Plano fair last year, ‘Princess and the Kiss’. We got it for Evie and let me tell you it has been a favorite ever since. We listen to the cd in the car almost every day. Such a beautiful story of purity and love. Tell them thank you!!!

  2. This is totally off-topic, but did you know that the email subscription is still titled: Life in a shoe: the methods and madness of one mother of 8?

    • Cindy, I know. Someday I’m going to hack into my feedburner account (because they won’t let me in the normal way) and figure out how to change the title of my feed. I’ve actually tried to change it several times but it never seems to stick.

  3. Meghan V. says:

On the subject of books… are the CBD codes current?

    • I think the codes are current, but they’re only good for 3 uses each so may have already been used up. I’ve heard you can call customer service to request a code for your own use, but I don’t remember exactly what the deal is. It wouldn’t hurt to ask!

Don't just think it: say it!
