Jonathan Park volume 8 is here!

Just a word to all the Jonathan Park fans out there – or homeschooling parents looking for something fun to add to next year’s science curriculum – volume 8 is here!

The Copper Scroll

When the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered, one scroll stood out from all the rest. It was made of copper and described more than sixty vast, hidden treasures — and how to find them. But where are those treasures now?

This real-life riddle has stumped archeologists and treasure hunters for almost sixty years. Now Jonathan, Kendall, Jim, and Jessie think they’ve uncovered a clue that may unlock the mystery. As the Creation Response Team follows clues from one biblical location to the next, opposition increases on every side. The team’s even being tailed by Myles Morgan!

Join the Creation Response Team for a heart-racing archeological treasure hunt that will uncover ancient artifacts from Bible times and reveal exciting testimonies to God’s amazing creation and His inerrant Word. . . in Jonathan Park and the Copper Scroll!

It’s full price which is still a great deal, but you can get all 8 for 50% off!

  1. We were super excited to hear the new one was almost out, but after reading the description, we’re almost afraid to listen to these. We (and the families who borrow them from us) were all SO glad that they finally had Myles accept Christ as his Savior, and now they have him back chasing them again?!!! NO!!! What kind of message will that send to the children listening to these? Besides, he’s supposed to be in prison for a long time. How can he possibly be chasing them?!!

I second Sarah’s comment. I thought it was just such a sweet moment when Miles became a Christian. Please don’t tell me he became bad again. :(

  2. YAY! Just ordered the complete set! I’d have never known it was so affordable if you hadn’t posted the links! Thank you so much! Our “quiet-time” just got a lot more fun!

  3. We LOVE Jonathan Park but I’d have to warn others not to buy the Galapagos and Amazon ones :( Big disappointment, especially if you already have the VF documentary. The reason we all found it to be disappointing is the lack of adventure. I would only buy it if you were going to use it for school…and even then I’d recommend the documentaries.

    • Autumn, I think the Galapagos, Amazon and Zoo albums are great for their purpose, but entirely different from the adventure albums. I heartily recommend them, but people should definitely take time to read the description so they know what to expect. Don’t just buy them because you love Jonathan Park!

      • I’m so glad you mentioned the zoo set because that explains why I’ve heard so much negativity towards JP when they only listened to the zoo. We would rave and rave about JP and these other families would look at us like we were crazy. Now I know that they just haven’t heard the exciting ones yet!

Yay! I received my copy from Amazon yesterday – had a giftcard there, so I got it practically for free, which is even better! XD I’ve enjoyed all the other albums, I was just disappointed to learn that they brought Myles Morgan back…he was getting pretty annoying, and my sister and I were glad when they “turned it around” at the end of album #7 – I just hope that they really *did* fix him this time. :)
Anyway, I’m going through the series again – and I can’t wait to get to #8!

Don't just think it: say it!
