25 Days of Christmas, Day 12

Deanna’s shoes, just for fun. :)

Also, I learned that when you want to add a touch of peppermint to your coffee, you should use a single drop of peppermint extract or. 00003 drops of peppermint oil. Basically, don’t use peppermint oil in your coffee unless you want to feel like you just sucked an entire candy cane up your nose. My sinuses still feel fresh.

What did you do today?

Comments

  1. I’ve been known to overdo it with tea tree oil before learning of the need to dilute it with a mild oil.

  2. lol. I’ve done that too many times! Finally used the baby’s medicine dropper to be able to get just a drop.

  3. The best way to add peppermint essential oil to coffee is to use the toothpick method. Dip your toothpick in your oil and swish it around in your coffee. That way you won’t get too much. You can add more to taste. Of course, if you’re using it for the purpose of clearing your sinuses, then that’s a different story. ;-)

  4. I like the candy cane reference.I’m definitely a coffee purist, but the other day my husband gave me a sip of his coffee. I never, ever take that sip because it’s usually hazelnut (yuck). But was really cold. This time it was some kind of Christmas blend thing. I spit it all over the church parking lot. Then I got (jokingly) dramatic and then I saw the pastor and a few elders (all frieds of my husband) staring at me. It was just one of those moments you can’t explain away, but it was really histerical.

  5. It took me too long to realize why the green and red shoes. Today was a challenge. Personally not much fun. I just hope my smile didn’t look too fake. We have been snowed and iced in for a week. I think everyone has cabin fever. :/

  6. I love peppermint essential oil. I use it for so much. You really need to use it when you have a headache.

Don't just think it: say it!
